Remember that time is money…

Benjamin Franklin is the originator of this famous saying that has become a cornerstone of daily life here. We know what it means, but how do we use the knowledge to make our time as well used as possible in order to be time “rich”? The best way is to utilize the technique of the 4 D’s of Time Management.

  1. DELETE: process of eliminating all unnecessary time wasters from your life.
  2. DELEGATE: process of assigning important tasks to someone else to complete. This is the best way to save your time at the same time as increasing your work output in the same amount of time.
  3. DEFER: essential tasks can be set aside for now to be handled at another time when you may have more time to dedicate to the task.
  4. DO: Tasks that can be completed within a few minutes. Also, referring to starting tasks immediately in order to build up momentum to complete bigger, vital tasks as soon as possible.

So, now we have the tools needed to make our time as well spent as is possible. This will give our lives value and importance, much more than just making money could ever achieve. Protect yourself from time wasters, spend each moment as if it were your last, and give of your time to others who need it to be helped in times of distress. Do these things and you are guaranteed to have a great life, full of love, joy, and happiness. Stay strong and be happy, loved ones!!
